Great looking product! I suspect that it will work with Canon 7D.

I would like to be certain before purchase?

      Thanks

    2. admin says:

We just got the adapters in that will let the Gigtube work with the Canon 7D! I will be adding the option to the purchase page shortly.

    3. Lisaloha says:

Does anyone know if this will work with the Canon SX 10IS? It has a hotfoot behind the flash and DC IN and A/V out ports.

    4. Keith says:

Hi I have a Nikon D200. Will the Gigtube work on this camera. Thanks Keith

    5. Jim says:

I use the 7D, 5DMKII, and 1DMKIII. I don’t want to have to buy one for each of the cameras. Do you have a kit that would allow one to work with all three?

    6. admin says:

The Gigtube uses the cameras Live View function to operate as a remote viewing screen. The Nikon D200 does not have Live View so the Gigtube will only work as a remote firing trigger.

    7. admin says:

We do sell the cables separately for different camera models. Please email info@photoxgear.com with what you need and we can provide you with pricing and ordering information.

    8. Djuneth says:

Do you have a model that will work with my Fuji S5 Pro? It has Live View function although the body is that of Nikon D200.

    9. Kesha says:

Will i work with the Canon 30D?

    10. admin says:

Hi Lisaloha. Unfortunately we have no experience testing the Gigtube with this particular camera. Assuming the A/V out ports on the camera also feeds the camera live view function, the Gigtube should work just fine with it.

    13. Looking to use one on a D3 – does it only work in ‘Live View” mode, or can it also be used on “Continous High” shutter and just show the “Review” image that also appears on your camera after you’ve taken the shot.

    14. admin says:

The Gigtube will show what is being fed through the video out port on the camera, so it will show the review of the image also.

    15. saif says:

      hi,

will this work with cannon 450d

    16. Steve lynch says:

Is the gigtube compatable with the canon 1ds markII

    17. admin says:

Hi Saif, yes the Gigtube will work with the Canon 450D (XSi) camera.

    18. admin says:

Hi Steve, the Gigtube uses the cameras Live View function to operate as a remote viewing screen. The Canon 1Ds Mark II does not have Live View so the Gigtube will only work as a remote firing trigger & review screen.

    19. dave says:

      hello
can i use my d300s with gigtube in video mode?
      no for photo just video
      thanks

    20. dave says:

and what is the good model for nikon d300s and video

    21. admin says:

Hi Dave, yes you can! The Gigtube will show whatever is being fed through the video out port, video or photo. The GT1N is the Gigtube model designed for the D300s.

    22. Kristjan Fridjonsson says:

      Greetings,

I have two Nikon DSLR Cameras – the D300s and the D3s. I see that the GT1 NII is compatible with the D300s but there is no listing for the D3s. Will the GT1 NII also work with the D3s?

      Sincerely,

      Kristjan Fridjonsson

    23. admin says:

      Hi Kristjan,
Yes the GT1NII cable will work with both cameras. I’ve updated the purchase page to reflect this, thanks for pointing it out to us.

    24. Rick Raney says:

Will the Gigtube work with the Canon XL-1 camcorder?

    25. Charles says:

Hello I still have had the GT1C with the Canos EOS1000D. I use also the 500D.
But this camera is not compatible with this Gigtube. I need another AV cable to connect? The D1000 have 2 Jack plugs and the D500 1 and a mini HDMI. Which item do I have to order and what will be the price to sent it to The Netherlands?

    26. admin says:

      Hello Charles,
For the Canon 500D (T1i) you can use the CT1C cable that you have, but you’ll need an adapter to adapt the DT1C cable to the cameras supplied mini-HDMI to RCA cable. Please sent me an email at info@photoxgear.com and we can discuss shipping options for you.

    27. admin says:

      Hi Rick,
Yes it will, we have a XL-1 camcorder here that we’ve tested it with and the Gigtube works just fine as a live view unit. You won’t, however, be able to use the remote fire button to trigger the cameras recording. But for a live view unit the Gigtube works great with that camera.

    28. Jean-Paul says:

      Hi,

Whats about Pentax K7 and Kx ?

    29. admin says:

      Hi Jean-Paul,
We believe the GT1C will work with the Pentax K7 and Kx, unfortunately we do not have the cameras here to test out to make sure. The remote cable seems to be the same as the Canon Rebel line of cameras. So as long as the Pentax cameras have a video out port with the live view option, the Gigtube GT1C should work.

    30. Tberruiser says:

I see it works with a 5D markII, but I have the standard 5D. Will it work for my camera?

    31. admin says:

      Hi Tony,
The Aputure Gigtube will work with the Canon 5D mark II with full capability. However if you have the older Canon 5D (not markII) the Gigtube will only work as a remote trigger with the review (showing the image after its shot) function. The Gigtube relies on the cameras live view ability to work as a remote viewing device, the older Canon 5D does not have live view.

    32. Keith says:

Does the Aputure Pro Coworker work to activate video start and stop on a 7D or a 5DmkII? Or just stills?

    33. admin says:

      Hi Keith,
The red button on the Gigtube is tied to the front shutter button of the camera. The Canon 7D & 5D MrkII uses a button on the back of the camera to turn recording on and off, this is something Canon did instead of using the shutter button.

    34. Fred Wallace says:

Will any od the cables work with the Nikon D2x

    35. admin says:

      Hi Fred,
The Gigtube cables for the Nikon D300, D700, D3, D3x (the GT1N) will work with the D2x. However the Gigtube uses the cameras Live View function to operate as a remote viewing screen. The Nikon D2x does not have Live View, so the Gigtube will only work as a remote firing trigger & review screen.

    36. Jose Bueno says:

      Hello:

Is there any cable to work with mounted camara on tripod at several meters from the ground?

    37. admin says:

      Hi Jose,
The Gigtube comes with a 6foot cable (approx 1.8meters). We have found additional lengths of cable varying in size up to 50feet (15.24meters) can be found online at various stores, Send an email to info@photoxgear.com letting us know how long you will need and we can recommend some stores to you to purchase them.

    38. Don says:

I can tell you this is a great addition. I have used it with a 5D Mark II and it works well, and all the features work also. I sure beats trying to compose a shot with just the camera LCD. It’s a great buy.

    39. Lester says:

any of these work with the Canon 1D mark IV?

    40. David says:

Does anyone take the time to read about the products? Or just start asking questions!

    41. admin says:

      Hi Lester,

Yes, the Gigtube model GT3C will work with the Canon 1D Mark IV, I’ve updated the Listing to reflect this, thanks!

    42. Good information for sharing us i hope it can upgrade my DSLR from having a good quality of results. So cool to have this kinda of products and i can’t wait to have some of this.

    43. Jack Gee says:

I’ve the canon 7d. Does the 2.5 inch lcd show the full image that is on the canon’s 3 inch lcd, or is it a crop image?

    44. admin says:

Hi Jack, The Gigtube will show the whole image from the rear lcd panel of the 7D (and all other cameras also), the image is just smaller. Hope this helps, if there is anything else we can do please let us know, thanks!

    45. Remi Lopez says:

My friend has given me a gigtube GT1N for nikon 300. Is there an adaptor to the data cable so that i can use this to my nikon d300s and d90 ?

    46. Remi Lopez says:

and do i have to order separately for both camera ? How much it is for shipping here in England?

    47. admin says:

Hi Remy, Yes there are cables for both the Nikon D300s and D90, however they are 2 separate cables due to the remote connection for each camera being a different shaped plug. Both plugs can be found on the Gigtube purchase page (http://www.photoxgear.com/2010/11/gigtube-wireless-purchase/). For the Nikon D300s you will want the GW1NII-CC, for the D90 you will want the GW3N-CC. Hope this helps, please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks and happy shooting!

    48. admin says:

They are 2 separate cables but you can purchase both at the same time. Shipping to England runs about $11.00 for the cables (you will see the shipping charge during checkout). Hope this helps, please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks and happy shooting!
